A Cornishman, Robert trained as a journalist and teacher of drama and history before entering LAMDA.

A series he presented on the Celtic Saints saw him awarded a Royal Television Society commendation and last but not least, Robert has played the villain in a host of pantomimes. Oh yes he has! 

 Julia is best known for playing Rona in 8 series of the BBC's 2 Point 4 Children and starring in the Channel 4 comedy sketch show Who Dares Wins. She is an Olivier Award Nominee (Emily in The Hired Man) and played the role of Ruth in the original cast of Calendar Girls at Chichester Festival Theatre which then went on a National Tour before playing in the West End at The Noel Coward Theatre. She was more recently involved in a tour of Calendar Girls the Musical which traversed the country in 2019.

 Stephen left the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 1987 with a first-class BA (hons) and joined the BBC Radio Drama Company after winning the prestigious Carleton Hobbs Award, and has appeared in over 200 radio productions. Victoria was born in Chippenham, Wiltshire and trained at The Royal Welsh College Of Music And Drama. Victoria/She is the eldest granddaughter of the writer, H.E. Bates, and has been a director of his literary estate (Evensford Productions) since 2000. Victoria gives talks on various aspects of H.E.’s life and is currently writing a book about his time in the RAF during WW2.
